Sun Patch Manager

ちょっと前からSolarisのパッチあてに使っているSun Patch Managerの動作がおかしい。現在の状態から適用すべきパッチを調べるためにはsmpatch analyzeってなコマンドを打つんですが、これが「パッチなんかねぇよ」としか答えない。

# smpatch analyze
No patches required.

2007年1月26日のエントリでも同じような現象がでていて、その時はPatch Managerのパッチ適用でちゃんとパッチ検索、適用ができるようになった。そこでまた新しいパッチがでてるんだろうかとSunのサイトでsmpatchで検索するとこんな記事を発見。

あ、そうですか。もう運用やめたんですか。Sun Connection Update Managerを使えってことなのでインストールしてみたんですが、JavaベースのGUI。CUIベースのなにかないのかなぁ。もう少し調べてみます。
